Chell-Linn will be on hand to sign copies, share the story behind the story, and answer your burning questions. The Word on the Street Book Truck will be parked outside, so come early, browse the shelves.

About Author Chell-Linn Araya
Chell~Linn Araya steps into the spotlight after years of crafting compelling narratives for others. While a career as the first female quarterback for the 49ers proved unattainable, Araya’s lifelong dream of authorship was realized during the pandemic. Araya’s journey began with audiobook narration before successfully transitioning to ghostwriting, where she spent approximately three years honing her craft.
Araya’s debut indie-published novel, released last May, launched the Detective Shawna Valentine series. The series follows a resilient female detective who is navigating multiple sclerosis while dedicatedly protecting her coastal community. Though the town of Seaside is fictitious, local readers will be thrilled to recognize several landmarks from the Livermore area, grounding the stories in a familiar setting.
Known for “real” characters and antagonists who are “just plain creepy,” Araya delivers twisty plots filled with actual clues, ensuring the mysteries lead to satisfying conclusions without relying on sudden surprise endings. Araya is passionate about connecting with readers face-to-face and is delighted to be at today’s signing.
