While a career as the first female quarterback for the 49ers proved unattainable\, Araya’s lifelong dream of authorship was realized during the pandemic. Araya’s journey began with audiobook narration before successfully transitioning to ghostwriting\, where she spent approximately three years honing her craft. \n\n\n\nAraya’s debut indie-published novel\, released last May\, launched the Detective Shawna Valentine series. The series follows a resilient female detective who is navigating multiple sclerosis while dedicatedly protecting her coastal community.
