Our good friend Zig (Steve Ziganti of 3 Steves Winery) volunteered his truck and time to pick up our future book truck. We rented a U-Haul trailer and headed down 17 towards Santa Cruz.
We knew it was small, but didn’t realize just how narrow too. We had to move the ramps closer together and form a “V” shape just to get it up and onto the trailer. Once on, it just needed to be tied down and secured.
Bringing it home
After a stop at Dairy Queen for lunch we made the trek back north. I followed in the other vehicle we bought from the seller (that’s whole ‘nother story for another day).
All the way home we received some thumbs ups, and a lot of confused faces wondering what in the world we had on that trailer.
